Epic Fun, Sweedish Chefs and Blog Envy

Like an awesome thing, in awesome land
Hello again, Goodness its Friday already (And I appear to sound like a 19th Century Butler for some bizarre reason), Will master be requiring something to read? How about "Deans Weekly Blog" Sir, I'll think you'll find its a jolly old read, Well last weekend was an epic adventure of the sort that would of made Bear Grylls a happy man, (although we never ate elephant poo etc.). It was all in aid of a friends stag do, but we did various activities during the morning. First of these, and the most awesome was the rage buggies. (See picture). Now these are quite an impressive vehicle, but the worlds most awkward thing in the world to get into, as you have to climb through the rollcage. But in this mad world of health and safety you cant stand on the framework to get in, so you have to launch yourself into the gap in a "Dukes of Hazzard" style. True to form this resulted in me misjudging the gap, and ending up inside the buggy, for want of a better phrase, "Arse over tit". Cue much hilarity and giggles from the stag party. The next activity was laser clay pigeon shooting, (No real clay pigeons were hurt in the making of this activity). I really enjoyed this activity, anything where you get to wave a shotgun around cant be a bad thing. and on the plus side all the hours spent playing halo came into their own as I was pretty good at it (Shotgun Spree). Next up was the quads, this was another epic adventure, although the expedition appeared to be led by Hitlers long lost daughter, Dictator would be a slight understatement, unfortunately I managed to beach my quad at one point just after the swamp. Cue me rocking the quad with the throttle open trying to get going again. Again much to the amusement of the rest of the party. It was one of those days I guess. But at the end of it Epic fun. If you ever get chance, you should give it a go.

Eeet Is De Swedish Chef
Whilst I was having one of my random moments earlier this week, I've discovered two very cool things. The first is in google. There are some really random language settings that you can use, everything from pirate, to Klingon, my current favourite and the one I have my home page set to is the Swedish chef from the Muppets. If you go into the settings on your google home page and select languages, you'll find one called Bork, Bork Bork !!. Its genius and still provides me with a chuckle any time I see it, go on try it add a little random to your life. The next thing I stumbled across is right up my geek alley. If you go to your start button on windows, whichever version you have. and open the run command. type in ." telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl "without the quotation marks and sit back and enjoy. what you will see is Star Wars, the whole film made entirely from ASCII characters, let me tell you without sounding sad. this slightly aroused me in a way only stupid geeky things possibly could. If your a geek like me, or just find yourself with a little bit of free time on your hands, check it out Its genius.

I seem to have sparked some kind of mini revolution of with these blog postings, as a few people I know have now taken to posting blogs of their own, from such diverse subjects as Football, Dance Music and Halo. I think this is brilliant (like milk), I think more people should post random stuff on the Internet, without it life would be pretty boring and there would be a world wide shortage of material to keep me and others entertained. I just hope that (and I'm looking at you siePod) it doesn't develop into blog envy. My blog is bigger than yours, my blog has more content etc... we all know that mine is the best. So kneel before Zod !!!

I'm going know to see if I can find the answer to one of life greatest mysteries, how do they get the sausage inside sausage rolls

  1. Hahaha, blog off :-) I don't do competitiveness :-) Excellent blog again Bro... And don't worry, it's not a competition (we score 5 so you score 8 or something equally stupid) :-) It's about showing the world just how brilliant (if someone geeky) us Barlow's are!
